Guest speaker: Terence McKenna
[NOTE: All quotations are by Terence McKenna.]
“A nature trip is an eyes wide open trip.”
“I think LSD is abrasively psychoanalytic.”
“I don’t see an intellect outside of space and time guiding things, and certainly not watching with baited breath the machinations of the human monkeys. I mean, nobody has time for that kind of thing.”
“The universe is a self-creating mystery of some sort.”
“Maybe reality is a far more perishable concept than we ever dared or feared to suppose.”

What Are the Benefits and Boiling Points of Cannabis Vaporization?
After listening to many Mckenna raves, I view his output as 5% pure genius and 95% dross. Entertaining none the less.
This question is for Lorenzo. It is a pleasure to hear a McKenna lecture that has not been posted on the internet ever before. Do you think there are several more recordings waiting to be discovered or have we come to the end of the archive? Just curious
[COMMENT by Lorenzo: I’ve still got about 30 tapes that I haven’t yet listened to. Hopefully a few of those will be new. My plan is to get all of them out in podcasts during the next few months.]
Having the same problem as Rafal. Coincidentally, that is also my name. If he too lives in Poland, maybe that is the cause of the trouble?
I also made a thread on the forums with the same username as here. I’d appreciate an invite as well.
Looking forward to the Timewave bit. There’s more to that theory than even Terence ever supposed, and it’s something that is quite easy to digest. Perhaps soon I’ll make a post about it.
Have a great one.
[COMMENT by Lorenzo: I just sent you a direct invite. I’ll have to fix that other method. It is obviously broken.]
Thanks Lorenzo for the very informative article. I with you on cannabis vaporization vs. smoking. While I’ve not been at it for as long as you, it’s been so long that I can’t recall just how many years it’s been. Like you I’ve also been through many different vaporizers and finally settled on the two Arizer portables, the Solo and the Air. I much prefer a glass vapor path to plastic or even metal. What do you make of all these weed reviewers on YouTube describing taste and flavors when they’re only smoking? I’m really surprised that smoking seems to remain the dominant form of consumption.
[COMMENT by Lorenzo: I once thought that I could taste various flavours when I smoked cannabis. But after switching to a vaporizer I now realize that the flavours come out much more distinctly. BTW, I’ve also been using the Arizer Solo for a long time and agree that it’s a fine vaporizer. At my desk I use the Arizer, but when I’m moving around I use the Pax2.]
I am having troubles signing to the Slack team. Signup page gives an error when I try to create account.
[COMMENT by Lorenzo: I see that this is a different email address from your previous comment. So I’ve sent an invite to that address as well.]
‘i’ try to JOIN Psychedelic Salon 2.0 Design Team… this is what i get
”Something went wrong and we’re not quite sure what. We’ll look into it as soon as possible!”
it’s happening since last week
[COMMENT by Lorenzo: I’m not sure what is causing that, but I just now sent you a direct invite to join. Please let me know if that doesn’t work either.]
We need those McKenna glossalalia recordings he did in Hawaii!
Lorenzo, thank you for posting another McKenna lecture. I look forward to them every week.
