  1. I think I find her narrative as uplifting as you do Lorenzo. Her transitional notion of attention change – a shift from focusing and labeling what is bad and wrong to focusing on what is good and fun – is as promising a path forward as I can imagine. Love and Levity overturns selfish power and fear. As Hendrix says: “When the power of love overtakes the love of power, then we’ll have peace.” Not tomorrow, but today there is much fun to focus on and levity to love. Seeing today (our present situation at large and our personal situations in particular) as an opportunity instead of an obstacle. Paraphrasing one of Amanda Sage’s gems: It’s about bringing all of this good that exists NOW into a vehicle for transformation.

One exemplar of such a transformational vehicle is that of the museum turned temple (like COSM!). But our speech can also be such a vehicle, or better, a particular car on the cosmic train, the earth voyage vessel. We can form our daily and performative raps as poetic dwellings or hospitable landscapes of Logos. Letting others into our stream of linguistified consciousness. Inviting others to be the co-author of our life’s happening and expression; knowing darn well that this is a shared trip in the first place. No self-transformation is handed off from one of us to another as if it were a football. Indirect modes of interaction, like humor and loving trickery, are needed for those trapped by the doom and gloom (including our own individual downs); like Alan Watt’s Joker, unleashing the cosmic giggle. No one can help but laugh with the cosmic giggle when it comes, even the seemingly most malevolent and miserly!

Each of us brings a unique light to the circle of cooperative creativity. Let’s be free to bring this circle into the light of its collective being, here and now. Weaving our own shares of the cosmic golden thread, by intentionally implicating others in our own art and daily narratives with care and catalytic community creations. Turning our ephemeral earthen lives into art works of infinitely, like fractal grains of sand.

    Happy Trail! Happy Golden Train!
