Guest speaker: Bernardo Kastrup
Today’s podcast features a lengthy reading by Bernardo Kastrup from his new book, More Than Allegory: On Religious Myth, Truth And Belief. This reading comes from Part 3 of the book, which is a fictional account of a young scientist who participated in a research program that is investigating the nature of reality through the use of psychedelic medicines and brain scans during the experience. During the course of the experiments this fictional scientist uncovers the many layers of consciousness upon which our consensus reality is based. People who have had the good fortune to experience what Sasha Shulgin called a Plus 5 experience will most likely be amazed at how well Bernardo has captured the essence of such experiences.

Wow. This is one on the deepest podcasts at exactly the right time with my experiences. Thank you so much!
That was remarkable interesting!
Thanks everybody for the kind and encouraging comments! And thanks Lorenzo, for giving me yet another opportunity here.
Fellow Sallower I made an ‘audio drama’ that I think touches on what Kastrup. https://soundcloud.com/happygregproductions/the-singularity
Damn, someone finally found a way to say that which cannot be said. This is what conciousness is. Supremely fine. Infinte thanks Lorenzo.
This was amazing!
Wow.
Thanks so much for this episode Lorenzo! I’ve been fumbling around with my own thoughts on this subject, but it appears Bernardo is much further down the path I was going. I’m very much looking forward to reading his books (that I bought from your Amazon store 🙂 ).
Cheers!
